Range is no problem in our 3 bed terrace, even in the garden. The screen is a bit small and the resolution isn't great, but your checking baby, not watching Avengers! WebIt's not the company having a data leak or anything. The monitors that hook up to wifi have zero security and can easily be hacked by a grade school kid. Just stick to a monitor that doesn't hook up to wifi. I use V-tech and it's been fine. There's a couple features we would have liked to of had but not a big deal
