WebGlycolysis consists of a sequence of reactions that convert glucose into pyruvate under oxygen-rich conditions, and further into lactate under oxygen-poor conditions. These metabolites may then feed into the tricarboxylic acid (TCA) cycle. Through these reactions, ATP is formed and NADH is oxidized to NAD+.
